Renewed calls for justice today. Six GA State lawmakers are calling for the Department of Justice to investigate the January shooting death of climate activist Manuel Teran. The GBI claims Teran fired first at police, but an autopsy by the medical examiner showed no sign of gun powder on Terans hands. Activists point to this as evidence Teran was murdered by police and that a GA State Trooper injured that day was more likely shot by friendly fire. Police have denied that.
