Brandon Miller had the game of his life last night, scoring the game winning basket in the final seconds of overtime. His career game comes a day after Tuscaloosa police detectives testified that the star player for the University of Alabama men’s basketball team brought a gun to a now-former teammate which was used to kill a woman in January. The former teammate and another man are now charged with murder. Meanwhile, Miller’s attorney is doing his best to distance his client from the shooting, saying Miller is fully cooperating with police and didn’t know the gun was going to be used for anything illegal.
