A Georgia special prosecutor has dismissed charges against 2 Atlanta Police officers in the June 2020 shooting death of Rayshard Brooks. They said a taser can be seen as a deadly weapon and Brooks, they said, tried to tase officers at least twice with their own weapon. They added that one officer was left concussed after a violent struggle with him. He was shot in the back and buttocks while fleeing from police.
