When patients and families send gifts of thanks to hospital units, the cards don’t often mention unsung members of the staff. Penn Presbyterian (PPMC) night charge nurse Brittany Campbell says she has yet to see a note that says, "For the nurses and doctors, and the girl who works nights in the storeroom." Aislinn Meyers, storekeeper, works those nights at PPMC. Campbell calls her “the soft-spoken backbone of patient care” because medical teams could not deliver the high-quality care they’re known for without the proper supplies.
