If you turn away, it's like hitting mute button on our chat for me. If you're hearing, how would you feel if I took my devices off and didn't watch your lips? That's why I love eye contact and feel respected when you turn your face and body in my direction (when all possible) while conversing. This is also why I'll wait for you to finish whatever you're doing to have a real conversation TOGETHER. Does this happen to you too? What's the one thing that really throws off your ability to follow and be present during a conversation?
