Have you ever done this before? Sound waves travel via movement of molecules. Molecules make up anything - solids, liquids or gases. So when you’re banging pots and pans, yelling at the top of your lungs, stomping your feet, you’re causing all of the molecules to vibrate - which is why, if you’re close enough you/your child may be able to feel it. Try holding a balloon near a speaker playing music🎈You’ll feel all of the wonderful vibrations! Deaf/hard of hearing people are often much more sensitive to feeling sound vibrations or changes in air pressure. For example: I can often feel my husband opening our bedroom door while sleeping because of the shift in air movement. What other superpowers do you notice DHH individuals have?? ID: Michelle wearing a gray tank top stands in her kitchen, dark brown cabinets behind her. Banging a small sauce pan and bamboo spoon. #mamahuhears #potsandpans #bang #loudforhearingpeople #canyouhearmenow #dhh #deafkidsrock #deafaudiologist #notaheari...
