Nova Southeastern University Women’s XC team’s statement: Although we didn’t know Eliza Fletcher personally, we feel very connected to this tragedy. She was doing something that we do every single morning, wearing the same clothes, and having the same goals in mind. We ran at 4:30am today to finish her lost miles, raise awareness, and honor her.
