A total of 12 independent LED power and digital control boxes run the Cloud’s light panels - all in all representing over 33,000 individually addressable high lumen LEDs. They are triple redundant, meaning that any one control box can take over any other failure in another panel section. When designing for the alkaline and unforgiving environment that is the playa, you always gotta have backups. The Cloud is designed to be IP67, Ie water and dust proof, but even then, you can’t count on perfection in the desert.
