One of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever filmed in - Tumpak Sewu. The falls are located in East Java and they cascade down nearly 400’ in total. ⠀ In classic Nomad black ops style, merakisam, richardbrien and I took off during the weekend to shoot some clandestine footage, driving the entire route from Canggu to Jakarta - nearly 30 hours in a van before meeting the rest of the crew up north. ⠀ ⠀ As long as the drive was and as little sleep as we got, it’s all worth it when you’ve set up camera beneath a majestic waterfall and you look up to see small birds diving down through the fine golden mist sweeping through the air. ⠀ ⠀ It seems like there hasn’t been a single day that goes by on nomadthefilm without experiencing something wholly unique and awe-inspiring, and this was one of those gentle reminders of the unforgettable gifts that nature gives us. ⠀ ⠀ 📷 richardbrien #nomadthefilm #tumpaksewu
