A little peek at some of the lighting in the bar scene for lindseystirling and sabrinacarpenter’s Christmas collaboration, “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch”. 🎄 To light the bar, you can just make out the extremely warm S60 Skypanel coming through a chimera just over the steadicam operators head, and to the right of him is a dimmed 650w tungsten unit bouncing into a flopped down unbleached muslin for a bit of a cleaner soft key for the girls faces. This did the majority of the work for this entire scene, with the exception of a few accent lights for the ceiling and another S60 camera left to fill in ever so slightly. ariannashiningstar did an amazing job taking this all further in the color suite, really bringing out the warmth and balancing the tone perfectly throughout the scene.
