Dear South Africa, You are a country we’ve had on our minds for a long time and finally had the pleasure of visiting last November. We arrived in Cape Town and met with eyeseeafrica, a boutique travel agency, that took us through our travelogue of the winelands to the safari reserves. We got a glimpse of your unique landscapes and a taste of your eclectic culture. But above all, we got a sense of the magic of Africa that we had dreamt about. But at the heart of you is ubuntu, a word we learned from a local named Bongani that we met in #Johannesburg. And as Bongani so poignantly stated, “Life is supposed to be enjoyed. It’s supposed to be shared. It’s supposed to be lived. Life is experiential.
