I’m going to be super honest with yall… (to a degree 😅) last week was a challenging week for us as parents. Maybe we’ll share why one day maybe we won’t.. idk but last week tested our faith and pushed us into completely uncharted waters as parents for multiple reasons. We cannot begin to explain the amount of hurt we have experienced on our journey to becoming parents, the sacrifices we have had to make, and how badly we wanted a family of our own. So whenever we encounter situations where all that sacrifice and hard work is challenged or questioned, it is really difficult for us to accept and comprehend. But as always, we try our best to approach things with love and grace. We already have to work 10xs harder than most to be looked at equally to heterosexual families so really we have no choice but to work through our feelings and be gracious no matter how we may feel.
