Whew.. we announced our baby birth and you guys haven’t really saw much of her since. Honestly, this journey has been the most challenging one of all because there were so many things happening all at once. We felt torn when we had to leave our kids in Atlanta, we felt defeated when we had to leave our newborn in the nicu across the country. We opened a new business and had to leave it in our employees hands a month after we opened. We didn’t know if she’d survive or if she’d have any major health issues if she did survive. It seemed like nothing we did was enough in so many areas of life. We can’t even begin to tell you how many tears we shed while keeping a smile on our face throughout this entire process… it emotionally depleted us. But through it all, we saw her through it and got her home safely.
