#🎨🚧🏀renovationguide Recently, we have had to repair and resurface a number of painted “mural” basketball #hypecourt courts in different cities. Typically, the courts have either become slippery and/or the paint is delaminating. Usually that means (1) the court was not repaired and resurfaced first and (2) an asphalt, concrete, or other, paint was used (usually applied directly to the asphalt or concrete base), instead of sports specific resurfacer and sports specific color coatings. We use a number of different sports specific brands (a web search for “tennis court resurfacing supplies” will bring up options), but we also recommend working with an experienced local contractor when possible.
