Theresa is a fun-loving, inquisitive, and very energetic girl. “She never stays still… like a bumblebee,” says her mother. After her initial diagnosis in 2014, the Illicete family was paired with the Thespian Society. “When you look at our girl, the amazing young lady she is now with her ‘Mona Lisa smile’, you’re looking at someone who the Penn State Thespians helped shape”. Theresa and her friends in Thespians would play games and chat for hours. They even came to her middle school play where they were one of the loudest cheering sections.
