April of 1995... our Team Michigan team traveled to Solon, OH to play in the Cage Classic. Robert “Tractor” Traylor (RIP), Terrance Roberson, Albert White, and Kevin Garnett (All top 10 players in the COUNTRY all playing on the same AAU Team) along with other great HS players from the state of Michigan and we were led by the late great Coach Rocky Watkins. With Bobby Huggins (Cincinnati) Jerry Tarkanian (Fresno State) John Calipari (UMass) and a host of other college coaches in the gym. I was on fire from deep. Every time I crossed half court, I would shoot the rock and let it fly... every shot, all net! While the ball would be rotating in the air, Kevin Garnett would yell out MONEYBALLLLLL!
