Introducing our Hall's Player Profile: Introducing Kyra Bates, a local player from Richmond, B.C. Kyra has been playing for 5 years and just recently joined our team last year. She enjoys spending time with friends, discovering new places and finding ways to procrastinate from doing schoolwork (i.e. crocheting a blanket.) Kyra is most commonly found in drills cracking jokes and catching souls, she is a force to be reckoned with and without ball in hand. If she isn’t on the field running through anyone in her path you can find her anywhere on campus, especially anywhere that has free swag! With aspirations of potentially being a high school French teacher Kyra is currently majoring in English Literature and Minoring in French Languages, Literatures and Cultures. We are excited for Kyra’s return as we know “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” and her ACL will be a prime example of that.
