Happy National Girls & Women in Sports Day® (NGWSD™)! WSF co-founded NGWSD in 1987 as a special day in our nation’s capital to recognize women’s sports. Today, NGWSD is a national movement where we can all come together to celebrate and inspire girls and women to realize their full power through the benefit of sport. As we celebrate WSF’s 50th anniversary this year, we are proud of our legacy and impact.
