Disappointment is the gap between expectation and reality. Our expectations were very high, so the disappointment we feel in our season coming to an end rises to that same level. As I look at each face in this picture, so many memories flood my mind. Memories of joy, pain, laughter, sacrifice, obstacles, and growth. Memories that fill me with so much gratitude to know and coach each one of these incredible young women. That’s always what I miss the most about a season ending - not seeing the faces of the players every day, not building memories with them every day. As one of our captains said after our loss, we were blessed to even be able to have a season in this crazy year. She is so right. So rather than be frustrated with all of the goals we didn’t achieve, we choose to be thankful the vast numbers of blessings that God gave us this year. I can’t wait to see these faces again so we can make more memories and strive together to pursue everything God has in store for us! #horn...
