There was a Livestreamed massacre of African Americans on May 14th in Buffalo, NY. Again, we watched a murderous white supremacists get peaceably taken away- while once every few months, we hear about an unarmed Black person being killed by police because of some unreasonable perceived threat. There's a lot going on and in my opinion, it's not being discussed to the magnitude it needs to be discussed by the people who can change it- people who believe that prayers are effective. The country (and the world) recently turned their attention to a nation under siege. I want to tell you that there's a 400+ year attack still being waged physically, spiritually, and systematically against a group of God's image-bearers. Perhaps your news, political party, or denomination of choice has caused you to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear. Here's my plea- can you pray for Buffalo and those who lost loved ones? Take this moment and pray for peace, for Justice, that what breaks God's heart truly begins ...
