Interview with the Assistant Principal of San Ysidro, Mr. Kevin Willard at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. It was such a blessing for San Ysidro High School to be able to have this experience. Mr. Willard, a former Division 1 athlete and Sports Broadcaster himself, put in so much work behind the scenes to make this incredible team trip happen. San Ysidro Basketball had a very successful trip, as they played on ESPN at the Birthplace of Basketball, Springfield College, where the sport of Basketball was invented in 1891 by James Naismith, in the primetime slot, in front of a sold out crowd. ysidro_basketball only lost by single digits to the now #5 ranked team in the country, Columbus from Miami, Florida. Columbus also has the #1 ranked player in the class of 2025, Cameron Boozer, son of Former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer. Thank you, sir! #BorderBoyz
