It’s a truly special opportunity to get this massive crew of bright minds, nerdy, badass athletes, and driven dreamers all together in one place. However, a portion of that same crew botched the legibility of the body letters of “POW❄️” this bad. 😂😜 Over the past few days, protectourwinters gathered our athlete alliance together to convene and strategize on how to move forward on meaningful, concrete, impactful climate action. Personally, I learned a myriad of new lessons on how to capitalize on and build upon the legislative win of the Inflation Reduction Act to shape the future of renewable energy in the U.S. and pursue paramount decarbonization goals. Between presentations and a visit to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, we of course snuck in some group runs on the trail too.
