"I struggled my first semester of freshman year with figuring out who and what I wanted to be. I had many hard days, where I heavily considered transferring schools. It wasn’t until I met my former boss, Sean Stout, and I became an admissions tour guide and found such a strong support system that I started to figure out where I fit in at Bloomsburg. Admissions opened my eyes to everything provided at Bloomsburg. Prior to that, I felt trapped doing the same thing every day. I was able to branch out and meet people in all different majors and organizations. Progressing in my degree I found mentors in some of my professors. Working in Dr. Borland’s research lab I found my best friend, my research partner. Someone who I never would’ve met otherwise, and we were able to have amazing experiences while doing groundbreaking research.
