This cherished time brings families, friends, and neighbors together, renewing their deep ties to the land. Unfortunately, however; each season also brings with it stories of Israeli settler aggression. In the West Bank, settlers engage in violent campaigns, targeting Palestinian farmers and their families amidst their sacred groves. Acres of land and centuries-old olive trees are burnt to flames, and injected with poison. Heartbreakingly, elderly Palestinians find themselves in tears as they witness the legacy of their fathers wither away. Settlers come in the middle of the night and steal their harvest just as it is ripening, leaving families reeling from the loss of a vital source of income for the coming year.
