Women’s individual foil representative
#ChanNokSze Daphne was the third female foil fencer to ever represent Hong Kong in the Olympics. Against an opponent 25 places higher in world rankings, Daphne fought with courage, and took the loss with grace and a smile.
Men’s individual epee representative
#HoWaiHang gave his all against his long-time rival from Japan, and even took a five-point lead at one time, beating his previous personal best record in the event.
