Any opportunity I get to connect people through art and storytelling, I take! . The ability to build a bridge between the civil sector and the public is an honor. These electrical boxes were just a distraction from the gorgeous new Bank of America Tower. . They contacted me directly to see if I could transform the boxes with art, and create an opportunity to start a conversation within the community about their vision of respecting nature while pursuing progress. The selection of such vivid colors was one of my favorite parts of the project, and represent Energy and Nature. You can’t help but smile when you see such bright colors in the streets of Downtown Houston! . One huge benefit to painting civil art is to engage with those who want to pursue a career in this sector one day, and reminding other artists that their art can always bridge the gap between communities, cultures, and customs.
