Finally being able to buy a new jointer I knew I wanted something that was modernized but also reliable. Once I found out South Bend came out with a woodworking line I seen their 8” jointer and knew it was the one. South Bend was Founded in 1906 and their machines helped many major companies accomplish their work! Thomas Edison even had a South Bend lathe in his laboratory! This thing here is insane! The quality and the amount of detail put into this jointer blows me away. Setting up the jointer was a breeze with the handwheels. The Digital infeed readout is so sick and allows me to set the depth of cut quickly with ease, and dead on accuracy. No lie, there’s no better 8” jointer.
