I am putting a bit of polish on some stainless steel stock that came in looking very rough. This was not required for these parts but it is a good practice to always go above and beyond. The sandpaper was secured with a turning toolholder and set screws pinching it in place. The Lathe was set to a fine feed and high RPM. The feed was set to travel toward the tailstock so walking away wouldn't be nerve-wracking. The tailstock was used since this parts geometry was perfect for this.
