Hitler rose to power in Germany. The first Three Stooges short is released. My grandmother was 12 years old, and this South Bend lathe rolled off the factory floor and into its first machine shop. It’s traveled from place to place for 86 years before finally landing in my shop today. I wish I knew what stories it could tell or who has used it before me.
