This is the first picture I ever got of “Boone”. He showed up on Dec 17 2023 on my little 68 acre lease. My jaw hit the floor and my excitement went through the roof! On this piece, I had the farmer leave me 1/2 acre of standing beans and it was my only hope that he would eventually find them. About a week after I got my first picture of him, I was checking cameras and he found the beans; but it was in the middle of the night. And for the next few days, he kept hitting the beans but in the middle of the night . But checking forecast, I saw a high pressure system coming and the temps dropping about 10 degrees, I knew I had to go and sit, just for the off chance he would daylight.
