I took my own sound off this video because this child had much better points than me. 🤣 Real talk, my very least favorite part about backpacking is having to brush my hair out there!! I have thick, wavy/curly, frizzy, finicky hair. And it gets tangled in the most horrendous knots! At home, I HAVE to condition it every single day, followed by a leave in conditioner just in order to be able to brush it, and then I use two different brushes to get it in order. In the backcountry, none of this is possible. Even when I get to towns, hotels give you the teeniest little bottles of conditioner which won’t even cover half my hair, so I always end up buying full bottles of conditioner whenever I stay at a hostel or hotel while backpacking. I used a mini thewetbrush while on the Colorado Trail and let me tell ya, it did not do the job. (At home I use a wet brush followed by a normal brush).
