Snippets of Santorini. 🧿 If you are planning to visit Greece in the near future, save this post for some tips: - Oia is the town well known for its sunsets, which means it’s the most crowded. Walking through here was rough - so many people herding through the streets, no spots to take pics because it has so many people. In my opinion it’s overrated. - it’s better to visit Fira - less crowds, plenty of picturesque buildings with the blue domes, lots of shopping, and more side streets to explore - they do have public restrooms by their bell/watch towers but it’s 1 euro to use it so be sure to have cash with you. - they have a lot of great restaurants overlooking the water so be sure to take a coffee/frappe break there while you enjoy the breathtaking view - frappe’s originated in Greece which is coffee with icecream in it (like an afogado) - To get down to the port, you can take a cable car or a donkey.
