This Minute Repeating Perpetual Calendar Watch is perhaps how watchmaker Franck Muller earned the moniker 'A Master of Complications.' The dial is signed 'Franck, Geneve' and a look at the case back will reveal the watch is numbered 1. As such it's that this is a very early and very complicated pre-brand wristwatch—a unique example in fact, the only one of its kind assembled in 1992. What's more, inside you'll find a stamped ‘JHP.’ To many this is a simple casemaker's stamp, but to the discerning few it has a far greater meaning. It's the mark of Jean-Pierre Hagmann, casemaker to the greatest brands and responsible for their most prized pieces such as Patek Philippe’s Star Calibre 2000.
