#SMBA23 toured the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center, home to world class sporting venues and support facilities. The center hosts more than a dozen summer Olympic and Paralympic sports and local professional teams throughout the year. Following the tour, students were able to hear from Elva Espinoza – Human Resource Director, Tyler Amborese – Facility Operations Manager, Andrew DeMaria – Special Events & Sales Manager and Spencer Jamison – VP of Business Development. It was insightful to hear about what goes into bringing and hosting athletes at the training center, while ensuring all of their needs are met.
