How it started ➡️ How it's going @zozzy7 During her time at Elon, Lauren Brzozowski ’19 was a track athlete. Track was her first love. While chasing her dreams of becoming a professional athlete, she moved to the UK and began running for Loughborough University while simultaneously pursuing a master’s degree in marketing. She planned to compete in races throughout Europe and eventually start a professional track career. But the pandemic had other plans. Lauren was sent back to the US but she wasn't discouraged, she just needed to pivot. She had been watching the career of Veronia Day '11, another @elonxctf alumna, who transitioned into winter sports and is currently a member of the USA Skeleton team. Veronica helped connect Lauren to coaches which lead to a tryout in Lake Placid, NY.
