During National Day week this year, the award-winning one-woman play King by Jo Tan returned by popular demand to take the leap onto the live stage. Directed by Irfan Kasban with choreography by Mitch Leow and multimedia by Brian Gothong Tan, King told the story of Geok Yen, a PR exec whose spontaneous decision to attend an office party dressed as a man brings unexpected consequences. “Amplify Artistry” with T:>Works this holiday season to support artists and contextualised research in developing innovative works.
