I’ve been thinking about what community means to me while on this tour, and meeting so many fellow LGBTQ+ people has shown me what truly makes our community so special. Hearing the stories of resilience from same-sex families who have fought tooth and nail to make sure that their children get to experience a world without prejudice — and are able to grow up, come to concerts and hear songs about what love in our community looks like and should be like — has really made my heart smile. I grew up in a world where I was unsure that same-sex families would ever be accepted in our society or on television but now as someone who has the pen in their hand and can make change I only partner with brands that actually reach out and make change in my community.    That’s why I’m proud to partner with neutrogena through the #CareWithPride initiative.
