Meet the artist: I’ve actually never done this and with so many beautiful people following me this summer I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Zany, They/Them, and I started Zany Art about 3 years ago. It honestly didn’t start with a mission, and I was just 18 and trying to figure out how to pay for college. I made a jacket and someone offered to buy it. Fun fact: at the time my boyfriend told me I would never make money with my art. He was wrong 🙃 My business is founded on sustainability, humanity, and individualism. I wanted to create art that wasn’t just art for arts sake, but something that was wearable, accessible, and unique to each person. I function as a zero-waste company, and couldn’t be prouder of that. Although art is my love, I am going to school for intentional affairs and political science. I live in Colorado, and I am from Alaska.
