Who does not love slow motion? 120fps gives you an amazing result with slow motion. However, don't shoot everything with 120fps. Disadvantages of shooting 120fps: 1. Larger file size The file will fill up your SD card/hard drive/cloud storage a lot faster than other frame rates 2. Require more lights You would need to shoot at 1/250, probably with a faster lens/better light environment in order to use 120 fps. 3. Lack of motion blur While this could be a good thing to have a sharper image, things do not need to be sharp at all times. 4. Are you actually slowing it down? Not every clip needs to be slowed down. Slow motion is kind of overused nowadays. Don't get me wrong, I love 120fps too! Frame rates like 24/30/60 are just as good to shoot with. Go mess with it! #sportsvideographer #sportsvideography #videographytips #bayareavideographer #sanjosevideographer #bayareafitnessvideographer #sportsedits
