Feeling incredibly inspired, fulfilled, and radiating JOY looking back over the last 3 weeks… My first Vibrant Minds; Creating Identity program just wrapped up yesterday and let me tell you how MOVED I am from working with these girls. WOW. Last year I did the Teaching Artist Project program with communitywordproject which encouraged us to create a program and apply for a grant as our final project. I applied to the Youth Arts Project grant with nhcouncilonthearts with positivestreetart and created VIBRANT MINDS; A youth arts program focusing on a different art modality each week as a form of self expression, utilizing different art therapy exercises, creative writing, visual art, and movement. Seeing these girls smile, laugh, connect, and express themselves was such a gift, I wish you guys could have SEEN the SHIFT 💝🌀✨.
