Robots launching robots. V-BAT flying from drone ships. It doesn't get much cooler. During the usnavy Third Fleet Integrated Battle Problem (IBP) 23.1 exercise, we launched V-BAT from a Sea Hawk unmanned surface vessel (which doesn't have a flight deck), flew to a "target" of interest, and piped V-BAT full-motion video and targeting data to coordinate a strike. After the strike, V-BAT conducted battle damage assessment (BDA). This event demonstrated V-BAT's ability to plug-and-play with third party battle management systems to close the kill-chain.
