This past weekend, members of our flight operations team assisted the choctawnationok Emerging Aviation Technology Center (CNEATC) as they hosted ~100 local STEM students for a day of fun and education about unmanned aircraft. They ran batteries, acted as visual observers during small UAV flight operations, and chaperoned groups of children from grades 8-12 through various stations, to include paper airplane contests, small quadcopter operations, Microsoft Flight Simulator operations, and a V-BAT static display. Needless to say, the team genuinely enjoyed this opportunity to share their unmanned aircraft knowledge and passion with these bright young minds! #stemeducation #UAS #aviation #aviationtechnology #VBAT
