Our V-BAT team supporting RIMPAC successfully tested V-BAT's SATCOM capabilities from the flight deck of USS Michael Monsoor (DDG 1001) earlier this week. V-BAT is the most tactical, most logistically simple UAS in the world. For this RIMPAC test, we flew V-BAT in the Pacific from our production facility in Texas by taking our ground control station (GCS) setup -- a laptop + two little boxes -- and simply connecting it to our internet modem.
