1912 as rail bridge funded by Henry Flagler for use from Miami to Key West, converted to highway use in 1938 after the Labor Day Hurricane destroyed it in 1935. The Bahia Honda Rail Bridge today remains a historic landmark between Bahia Honda Key & Spanish Harbor Key.
