First day done. About 260km ticked off out of approx 550km. I lead thespeedproject out dropping a 17:XX min 5km 🤪 at 5pm on Friday we were the leading Women’s team but with all teams taking different routes it’s anyone’s game. Yesterday I ran 45km in total. It has been wicked, the most beautiful, crazy environments, discos on sides of the desert and the kindness from locals and fellow runners alike has been amazing. It’s now Saturday 2am and it’s TOUGH, need to get through this block and the sun will rise. The terrain is too technical for the RV to follow along the next few hours so it’s survival mode. Avoiding wild dogs and crazy people, jumping over barbed fences, running with head torches and each other. So proud of us, females are fucking cool 🩷🖤 #thespeedproject #TSP
