Continuing our senior send offs now that we’re through IRA’s, we have Abdullah Bannan from Aleppo, Syria. Written by Jillian Medina ‘24: “I feel so lucky to have gotten to know Abdullah during my time with Harvard Rowing. Watching his transformation from someone who entered Harvard with no experience in athletics to a varsity rower has been truly inspiring. His fearlessness and tenacity are unparalleled. Off the water, Abdullah is someone the team can always count on to bring a joyful energy and support to his teammates when needed. HVL will miss his contributions to the program as both an oarsman and a friend.
