Last year at this time I was churning out pages on SWALLOWED. I’d shot thelightingaintright (aka Jose Colon) for all_the_dead_boys in LA and begun to think of him as a character named DOM… 🐛 I wasn’t entirely sure what Dom’s story was, but he continued to show up in my head - day after day - and inspire this dark little film about two best friends and the backwoods nightmare their final night together becomes… 🐛 I wrote the script fast. In about a month or so. I’ve never written a script so fast. The pages just kept coming and Jose became the first “dead boy” to get a whole feature film built around him. 🐛 By summer we were shooting in the remote north woods of Maine. 🐛 SWALLOWED is also his first film.
