Risk is such an important part of being an artist - one that’s easy to forget when everything is going smoothly and you’ve got happy clients and a healthy bank account. 🐛 Challenging yourself with the stories you tell and the art you make isn’t easy. Walking away from something that’s become routine is terrifying. 📷 Fashion photography has been good to me. But at a certain point I had to be honest with myself - taking pretty pictures wasn’t enough for me. It wasn’t feeding me creatively anymore. I still LOVE taking pictures - but there are so many stories I want to tell that dont “fit” in the world of fashion. 🎞 Dark and disturbing stories about being an outsider and the risks we take to make connections.
