[IN]Perfection 9/9 - “Personal” With this picture I conclude this poetic collection of 9 images. The intent has always been to break [the frame] of what we’re shown daily on social media; to tinker at the thought of perceiving our bodies as what they are, perfection. It is also personal, as for myself it’s been a struggle to accept the new battle scars life has given to me. I was often told my hands “could model”, I feel in love with the way my hands looked. That was until life decided to add more texture to them & other parts of my body (SWIPE LEFT TO SEE WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT) I became tainted with the thought that my body should look a certain way. Truth is, my body doesn’t look at all like they said it should. It took time to heal those scars, physically and mentally. It took time to understand all this you’re reading right now.
