Wilma and Aaron Tosa, Native American potters from the Jemez Pueblo in New Mexico, give anthropology students a hands-on lesson in hand-coiling at Harvard’s Ceramic Studio. Matt Liebmann, John and Ruth Hazel Associate Professor of the Social Sciences, and Rowan K. Flad, John E. Hudson Professor of Archaeology, brought the couple to Harvard as part of their course on archaeological methods and reasoning.
